Today, I’m thrilled to share that BoardProspects has acquired theBoardlist, the leading mission-driven talent marketplace for diverse board candidates. This merger represents a powerful union of expertise, innovation, and a shared commitment to driving positive change in boardrooms across public and private corporations.
theBoardlist has been a leader in the board diversity movement since its inception in 2015, promoting the inclusion of diverse, board-ready candidates and fostering true representation in leadership. Their work in curating a talented and diverse pool of over 43,000 executives has already benefited over 2,500 companies in their search for exceptional board talent.

BoardProspects is an innovative platform offering for-profit corporations and nonprofit organizations of all sizes a cost-effective way to identify, assess, and recruit board members from a prestigious community of highly-regarded and credentialed board members, c-suite executives, and thought leaders. Together, BoardProspects and theBoardlist aim to become the destination for board recruitment at public and private corporations.
With this acquisition, BoardProspects will now have capabilities in training for board readiness and governance education, expertise driven networking and talent discovery as well as board recruitment solutions with the highest levels of diversity. Post merger, the combined platform will have a community of more than 48,000 individual members including over 5,700 subscription-based clients and over 35 corporate partners. Search partners including public and private company CEO’s, sitting directors, governance committees, venture and private equity firms as well as non-profit organizations, all have the ability to search the community for board candidates utilizing more than 20 different filters, including board/committee experience, skills, executive title, gender, ethnicity, LGBTQ+ status, industry, geographic location and much more.
