While there are no set criteria for BoardProspects membership – or for board service – Members who find the most success on our platform typically fall into one of the following categories:
A Network Built on Recommendations.
Searchers trust the quality of BoardProspects' candidates and are more open to candidates without previous for-profit board experience based on our recommendations system.
Candidates who do not have previous for-profit board experience – regardless of membership level – must receive a recommendation from an experienced for-profit director or one of our endorsing partner organizations before their profile will be shown in search results.
BoardProspects is not a pay-to-play community; all Membership levels are subject to the recommendation requirement.

What are the costs associated with membership?
BoardProspects Premium membership costs $499/year; Premium Plus membership costs $999/year. You can find a complete feature breakdown here.
Premium Plus includes optional concierge account setup ($99 value), 90 minutes of 1:1 coaching with our Talent Team ($750 value), live member-to-member networking sessions, and one complimentary ticket to a BoardProspects-hosted in-person event each year.
You may also opt for the complimentary Free Profile experience.
What is the recommendation requirement?
All BoardProspects Members who do not have previous board experience at a publicly-traded company or a private company at Series A or above must receive a recommendation from an experienced for-profit director before your profile will be shown in search results.

How do I cancel my membership?
BoardProspects membership is on an annual basis, and you may cancel your next renewal at any time before your renewal date.
Due to the nature of the product and the immediate availability of all resources at the time you subscribe, we do not offer refunds on membership fees.
Do you guarantee board placements for BoardProspects members?
No – we do not provide such a guarantee. The benefit of BoardProspects is that it allows our members to effectively promote their own value proposition to corporate boards. Even if Members are not recruited to the board of one of our corporate subscribers, the platform allows you to network with other Members – many of whom are already serving on a corporate board. A substantial number of our members have been appointed to a corporate board as a direct result of member-to-member networking on the platform.
