Mark Rogers Founder, President & CEO
Mark is the Founder and CEO of BoardProspects.com. Prior to founding the company, Mark practiced corporate law in the Boston area for more than 10 years. In 2010, he was selected by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as one of Massachusetts’ “Up and Coming Lawyers”. Mark also served as an adjunct professor for 4 years at New England School of Law. He serves on the boards of several non-profit and private companies and has lectured and written extensively on the topics of corporate governance and boardroom issues. His articles have appeared in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Forbes.com, and The Boston Globe.
Bobby Driscoll Co-Founder & COO
As COO of BoardProspects, Bobby is responsible for day-to-day management of the company, managing business relationships with strategic partners, and ensuring that the BoardProspects website provides users with a seamless experience. He ensures that all team members understand the plan and exactly how their role will impact the success of the company. Bobby is expected to drive accountability and excellence; develop team members; and bring the BoardProspects strategic vision to life at all levels of the company. Before co-founding BoardProspects, Bobby practiced law in Boston, MA. He earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Connecticut College, where he is a member of the athletic hall of fame, and his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to law school, Bobby held positions as Assistant Director of Information Technology at Roxbury Latin School and Director of Information Technology and Computer Science Teacher at the Winchendon School. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of clikMedia, Inc. and Marblehead Youth Lacrosse.
Ashton Adams CTO
Ashton is an Entrepreneurial “Visionary Technology Leader” who is a results-oriented professional with more than 16 years combined experience in the Information Technology / Software Development arena. He is an executive team collaborator supplying technical and new-market insight behind 240% growth in 18 months. Ashton is well known for fostering tight-knit cultures (despite culturally diverse & globally dispersed teams), as well as increasing and maximizing staff productivity while retaining 100% of technical talent. He is responsible for architecting and managing development of version 2.0 (and beyond) of the boardprospects.com
Kathryn Swintek is a Managing Partner of Golden Seeds Fund 2, an early stage investment firm dedicated to women entrepreneurs. She previously held senior executive positions at BNP Paribas and Irving Trust Company (now BNY Mellon). At BNPP, spanning a 19 year period, Kathryn headed North American Leveraged Finance, the U.S. Structured Finance Group, and the Global High Yield Bond Group, and was a member of the North American Management Committee. At Irving, she headed the Acquisition Finance Group and served as Representative for France based in Paris.
Kathryn is a Director of Trade Settlement, Inc., Turtle & Hughes, Inc., and Open Road Integrated Media, Inc. She is a former Director of rue21 and of BNP Paribas Securities Corp. Kathryn is Chair of C200, an international organization dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in business, and is a Director of the Women’s Forum of New York.
She holds a B.A. in Economics from the College of Mt. St. Vincent and an MBA in Finance from NYU.
Yan Pujante is currently a consultant in Software Engineering/Architecture. Previously, Yan was a member of the founding team of LinkedIn, and worked for 8 years as a Distinguished Software Engineer on numerous areas of the product: architecture, UI framework, wiring framework, security, replication, scalability, deployment and many more… Yan authored and then open sourced “glu”, the deployment automation platform used at LinkedIn to deploy thousands of instances across many environments. Yan has 16 years of professional experience with a total of 28 years of passion for computers (dating back to the era of the TI-99/4A).
Justin Miller is the President of Comcast Silicon Valley and CEO of Plaxo. Justin is a business and product leader with unwavering focus on great user experience. Prior to joining Plaxo, Justin was SVP of Product Management & Design at Move, where he led the complete redesign of the Realtor.com and Move.com websites. Before Move, Justin was at eBay, where he led their European Product and Global User Experience Design organizations. Considered one of eBay’s “User Experience Champions,” Justin played an integral role in improving user experience on a global level.
Prior to eBay, Justin started and led the User Interface and Product Management teams at the Webvan Group, and before that, he led Human Interface Design efforts for Net Explorer and served as a leader of Human Interface Designs at Apple Computer. Justin earned a Masters Degree in Human Computer Interaction from Rice University and a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University.
Patricia Lenkov, heads up the global search practice at N2growth. Prior to joining N2growth, Patricia was the CEO of Agility Search, a firm she founded and operated for four years. She was previously a member of the board of directors practice at Spencer Stuart, and prior to that Patricia spent six and a half years with Heidrick & Struggles where she conducted board and C-level search assignments for Fortune 500 companies. Patricia is highly regarded in board circles having been directly involved in the successful culmination of more than 250 board searches.
Patricia is widely regarded as a thought leader on board recruiting, corporate governance, composition, and succession. She is well known for her work on board diversity, and sits on the New York Steering Committee of 2020 Women on Boards. Patricia is no stranger to the media often being interviewed for outlets like: Fox Business, Chief Executive Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Women, Business Insider, Boardmember.com, Executive Recruiter News, Chicago Tribune, The Globe and Mail, and Money Magazine to name a few.
Prior to her work in the executive search field Patricia worked for Tab Products Inc., where she was Regional Sales Manager for the province of Québec (Canada). Prior to this, she was the Assistant Director of the MBA Program at Concordia University.
Patricia is on the Family Advisory Council of the Komansky Center for Children’s Health at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center and is a former Board Member at Temple Israel of New York City. She is a Parents Association Committee Chair at The Collegiate School. She is on the Board of The Blue Card and sits on the Advisory Board of Halsey Lane Holdings LLC, a financial services company.
Patricia holds a BA (with Distinction) in Psychology from McGill University and an MBA from Concordia University. She resides in Manhattan and Connecticut with her husband, daughter and twin boys.
Professor Mikolaj Jan Piskorski
Mikolaj Jan Piskorski, who often goes by Misiek, is an Associate Professor of Business Administration and Richard Hodgson Fellow in the Strategy Unit at the Harvard Business School. Misiek received his B.A and M.A. (Cantab) from University of Cambridge where he read Economics and Politics at Christ’s College. Subsequently, he received his A.M. in Sociology and Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University. After completing his Ph.D. he became a faculty member in the Organizational Behavior area at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. In 2004, he returned to Harvard to teach the Required Curriculum Strategy course in the MBA Program. He is now teaching his own Elective Curriculum class: Competing With Social Networks. In addition, Misiek teaches in Building and Sustaining Competitive Advantage, Taking Marketing Digital, Media Strategies and Strategic Agility Executive Education programs as well as in a number of external programs.
Misiek is an expert on why and how people use various on-line social platforms, both in the US and abroad. He also studies how firms can leverage these platforms to build social strategies. He also applied many of these insights to large organizations as they seek to become more agile and use social networks to execute their strategies. He is documenting this research in a book called Social Platforms and Social Strategy, forthcoming in 2013.
His research has been published in Administrative Science Quarterly and Social Forces and cited in the New York Times, Business 2.0, and Investors Business Daily. He serves or has served on the editorial boards of several academic journals including American Journal of Sociology, Administrative Science Quarterly, Management Science and Organization Science.
